The title pretty much defines what my past few weeks have been like. I am sorry for being MIA but this was for me the time of the year when I couldn't care less about who expects what from me because all I can think of is delighting myself. Everyone who just thought in their head that I am selfish, I bet you have these days too. So my past few weeks have included innumerable visits to the salons and spas, lots of shopping and even more window shopping, more family time, some reading and various dinners. Another factor that has lead to this scarcity of posts is  the current lazy weather of this city. I swear, I can sleep ALL day without feeling bad about it! Anyway now I'm back and I'm here to stay! Also, I finally managed to set up the SHOP section of Styledrive after contemplating for months and with help from my creative genius (boyfriend). So check it out!

OFF Subject - I recently learnt the meaning of choosing and how difficult a process it can be. When I was learning psychology, a few years ago, I didn't understand why a  certain psychologist had to rant about 4 different types of conflicts and the ways to deal with them! I mean how difficult can it be to choose between  black or white, here or there, Indian or Italian? Turns out choices aren't limited to this and they are certainly not as easy to pick between. Especially when you're faced with opportunities as good as the other or as bad, in some cases. I  think the biggest conflict each of us face is whether to be happy or not . Suggestion- Pick happiness, its always the better choice.

ON Subject - I fell in love with this over sized front short back long sheer shirt as soon as I saw it at Zara. And on top of that it had polka dots (which I am currently obsessing over) and it was black and white! 3 good things in a shirt and it's got to be mine. This was the simplest way to incorporate it in an outfit, but I promise I will do more outfits using this shirt in different ways. FYI, for all those people who have purchased bright coloured trousers this season(one or a ton), this shirt could look good with any of those colours!
