This was the quickest shoot ever. We were at this gorgeous location but the sun decided to stay in that day. Which left us with grey clouds and bad lighting. These are the days which make me want a personal studio. Anyway, ever since I saw this American Apparel clutch I couldn't stop looking for something similar until I could get my hands on the original one. After months of searching high and low, I finally came across this pure leather over sized wonder at a thrift store. Do I love it? Unconditionally. It’s the best accessory one could own to add to those in your face, bright colour block outfits to tone them down. Also, I got obsessed with these trousers, but I promise you won’t see them for a while now. This outfit actually has a lot of things that have been on my list for a while now. The wing ring, the neon orange shirt, the 'love' accessories, the animal print skinny belt, black platform pumps, the much coveted nude clutch. See the list goes on. So now that I have all the things I wanted, what's the next step? A new list!

This is one of the outfits I would have never thought I'd get into until about a year ago, for various reasons. First - I religiously would stick to either black bottoms or blue jeans, never ventured. Second - I didn't own a pair of red (reddish) shoes until last week. Third - There was no Zara in my city and lastly, I thought hearts were always meant to be red in colour and because this shirt had white hearts there was something wrong with it. Okay now I'm kidding.Your reaction? - Cool story Girl. But its all true, completely and absolutely except the last part, of course! Also, I am not sponsored by Zara ( this is a question I have been faced with several times ), I am plain simply addicted. But this particular trouser upset me only because it got wrinkled so easily. Turns out Zara wasn't made to make me happy. Happy reminds me, I started reading The Power by Rhonda Byrne a few days back and not only am I addicted, its changing me for good. No really. So if you have some free time, go grab a copy and give it a try. It wont hurt I promise. Besides that, my next 5 days are going to be spent with me sitting by a gorgeous beach with my sunglasses and hat.

For a while, i escaped from the oh-so-demanding life of a city to calmness and serenity and what an exhilarating feeling that was. But now I'm back from that much deserved get away. So what did i  get you? I got you a sneak peek. I still don't have the perks of taking my incredible love [photographer] everywhere i go,so this was pretty much my first hand at photography with my Sony digital camera. Summer 2011.
